Feria de Nerja 2025 - a Nerja party for adults and children
It's almost time for this year's big folk festival in Nerja – Feria de Nerja 2025! Between October 8 and 13, the village's patron saints – Virgen de las Angustias and San Miguel Arcángel – are celebrated with a colorful mix of music, tradition, festivities and activities for all ages.
The annual feria, which this year takes place in early October, is an opportunity for both locals and visitors to experience "Nerjian" and Andalusian culture, tradition and community.
The Feria de Nerja transforms the large car park in Nerja into a large Tivoli and the whole city into a party place!
There will be shows, dancing, food, concerts and several rides for young and old.
What can you expect at the Feria de Nerja?
During these days, Nerja is filled with joy, dance and music. The Feria de Nerja is celebrated in honour of the town's patron saints, the Virgen de las Angustias, and San Miguel Arcángel, and you can expect grand religious processions mixed with modern entertainment.
The fair is mainly held at Plaza de España and the Recinto Ferial in the large car park , where you will find an amusement park for both adults and children as well as plenty of food stalls and bars offering typical Spanish food and drink.
In the evenings there are concerts and performances that offer everything from traditional flamenco to more modern rhythms, which means the party continues well into the wee hours.

Tips for those going to Feria de Nerja 2025
Be there well in advance for the concerts in Plaza de España, they usually draw a lot of people.
Wear comfortable shoes :)
Don't miss the procession on October 10, which provides a glimpse into the religious and cultural heart of the festival.
The kids will love the festival area - try Churros (fried bun type) with chocolate, or other treats!
If you are planning to visit Feria de Nerja 2024 with small children, bring earplugs :). Our experience is that there is a very high volume of both concerts and the fairground part itself.
The city quickly fills up with both locals and tourists, so it might be a good idea to book your accommodation in advance if you don't live nearby.
For those who live in Nerja all year round, the feria is an annual celebration. All you have to do is go out and soak up the atmosphere.

The Feria de Nerja is an event for the whole family. Children will love the carousels and the various activities. For adults there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the unique culture, food and music that make this Feria such a special event.
